AZS brick is a high-performance fused aluminum-zirconium-silica refractory material, widely used in high-temperature industries such as glass kilns. Its name comes from the English abbreviations of its main components: A stands for aluminum oxide (Al?O?), Z stands for zirconium oxide (ZrO?), and S stands for silicon dioxide (SiO?). AZS bricks have excellent resistance to glass liquid erosion, thermal shock resistance and high-temperature strength, and are an indispensable key material in the glass industry.
AZS bricks are usually manufactured using an electric melting process, where selected aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide and quartz sand are melted at high temperature and poured into a mold for cooling and forming.
